{"id":28666,"date":"2011-06-28T08:34:00","date_gmt":"2011-06-28T05:34:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T21:00:00","slug":"at-least-1-000-detainees-during-the-last-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.arraee.net\/?p=28666","title":{"rendered":"At least 1.000 detainees during the last week"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Various Syrian cities witnessed during the past few days an intensive wave of arrests of hundreds of activists and protesters.<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of last week, tens of people were arrested in Tal Ref\u2019at, in addition to more than 400 students in the dorms of the university of Aleppo, a large number of them were recently referred to court.<\/p>\n<p>More than one hundred students were arrested in the dorms of the university of Damascus after participating in a peaceful sit-in after which they were brutally beaten.<\/p>\n<p>Jasim city also witnessed a wave of arrests in which about one hundred people were arrested due to their participation in last Thursday\u2019s strike which happened in several Syrian cities.<\/p>\n<p>More than sixty people were arrested in Tal area in Damascus suburbs, as well as tens of people arrested in Daraya, Rukneddin, Raqa, Deir Ezzor, Binnish, Jbab, Marea, Kseer, and other Syrian cities and regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=243302872363523&amp;set=o.243302742363536&amp;type=1\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img_loading img\" src=\"http:\/\/a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ak-ash4\/270891_243302872363523_217848338242310_1017848_1839868_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" onload=\"var img = this; onloadRegister(function() { adjustImage(img); });\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Various Syrian cities witnessed during the past few days an intensive wave of arrests of hundreds of activists and protesters.
