The students were subject to severe beating with truncheons and tasers and to humiliation. 77 students were arrested because of their participation in a peaceful sit-in in solidarity with the besieged cities.<br \/>Security forces repeated the storming the following day and detained more students. While some have been released, a number of them is stull under arrest until now.
