To the great Syrian people:
We, the members of Damascus doctors coordinate including doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, hospitals owners and people working in the health sector, announce the following:
1- We support our people demand in freedom, and liberty from this oppressive regime, and to be liberated from this regime and the inheritable power.
2- We are ready to give all what we have so our children can live in Syria, which is for all Syrian people, not in Syria Assad. We will not allow our children to be governed by the Assad grand child.
3- We are part of this popular uprising, and we support the Local Committees coordinate political vision. We organize ourselves in one coordinate so we can help our revolt people.
We also ask all our colleagues who are working in the health sector to join the public uprising so our nation and our people achieve the victory. We are blaming our union because it has not done the role that we wish it to do. Specially because many of our colleagues were arrested, tortured and insulted just because they were doing their duties in rescuing the wounded.
4- We also call this movement to keep peaceful and it includes all the Syrian people.
Our people in Syria:
It is clear that the Baath party regime in Damascus chose the tanks as a dialogue mean, Alshabiha ro take care of children in removing their skins, and their fingernails, and they cut off their organs. This regime wanted the security forces to be horror source to free people. The Syrians become secure only when the security forces are absent.
It is clear also that the Syrian media has no shame in reversing the truth and faking the events. We all witnessed the demonstrations and the sit in of medicine students in the university campus and how they were dispersed in bad ways. We all heard the insulting words which were used towards whom they stand and they carried flowers. We also witnessed how the students union become the one who torture students in the closed rooms. The union was the one to threaten the students and insulted the revolt students, it took decisions to expel these students. Also, the Iranian colleagues and the Lebanese colleagues contributed in beating these revolt students and terrorizing them with other Syrian students and professors who are pro-government. Any one can be shamed from telling this true stories about them.
We all witnessed the way that the security forces dealt with the demonstrators and we tried and we failed in the majority of the cases to remove the bullets from the heads, chests of these demonstrators. We tried to stop their bleeding we could not which resulted in rising the number of the martyrs and it is still increasing. We failed because we had to run away from the public hospitals and many of the private hospitals when we witnessed the security forces are beating the wounded to death in front of us and in front of their parents. We will say the following in front of God, Syrians and all human beings:
1- The Syrian land is enough to all Syrian people.
2- We will keep working on the peaceful and only peaceful demonstrations.
3- Refusal of the outside help and refusal of the military intervention.
4- Calling for a national conference to produce an establishment committee includes all Syrian following the same model of Homs conference in 1954 to put a draft for the civil constitution and which will call to a Parliament and presidency elections.
5- We are looking forward to a civil state and to a free Parliament and presidency elections and the decision will be to the people through the closed boxes in closed rooms. All Syrian will be allowed to be nominated or elected inside the country or outside as long as they are older than 18 years old, as long as he or she has their civil rights.
This is our first statement, but it will not be the last. We will continue our hard work until we celebrate with our people our second independence.
God keeps Syria and Syrians safe. Long live free Syria and long live free Syrians.
