Damascus: Qaboun: Security Forces, Shabiha (regime’s armed thugs) and some elements of the fourth division launched this morning at 3AM a wave of raids and arrests, accompanied by brutal destruction of homes. Power supply and communications were cut. Security forces installed checkpoints on the entries of the neighborhood and started searching for wanted according to a list they had by stopping all passing by and persons going into the neighborhood amid a wide and intense security and military deployment in the region. Machine guns were installed at the entrances of the neighborhoods and in front of mosques. Jaber al-Ansari mosque was closed and martyr al-Khatib’s family wasn’t allowed to have a public mourning for their son.
