Latakia: A large demonstration in Qanayens despite being surrounded by the heavy security presence, chanting for the toppling of the regime and in support of Hama. Security forces are reacting with heavy gunfire. Another demonstration set out from Hussein Mosque in Salbiyeh and another one from Ghareeb Mosque in the same neighborhood. Yet another demonstration set out from Jadeed Mosque in Aweyna, which was also met with gunfire from the security forces.
