In the name of God the merciful
After the abortion of the regime’s last attempt at gaining the legitimacy to invade the area, here it is using media propaganda once again to market its claims that there are armed groups in the area of Zabadani and its suburbs.
It is also working towards supporting its false theory by spreading a petition demanding the army to intervene for the protection of civilians from those fictitious armed groups. This petition, formulated by the state intelligence headquarters, who then forced its associates and co-conspirators to sign it, is to be presented to the public opinion as a justification for contriving a new massacre, despite the worldwide denunciation of the atrocities that this regime has committed, and the blood it has shed, which does not seem enough to satisfy its eagerness to commit crime or quench its thirst for the blood of the free.
We, in the name of the residents of Zabadani, denounce any military intervention in the area, and declare that our area is free from any claimed terrorist groups. Furthermore, we call upon the defenders of our homeland to do as they pledged upon themselves, protecting the people and defending the land. We also demand them to honor their oath and defend their military honor, by standing in the face of the regime’s agendas which have pushed them time after time into aiming their weapons at the chests of their own people, and feeding the fire that the regime has created to burn each person demanding freedom and dignity, be it military or civilians.
As for the conspirators among us, we will not stand and watch them fool with the lives of our youths, and drag the area into the unknown, all to please their masters. May those remember that the regime will not last forever and the people shall remain, and the residents of this area will not forget any of those responsible for each drop of blood shed, and, should the army invade the area and wreak havoc, anyone causing any destruction here will be held accountable.
Therefore, we warn them from the consequences of participating in this evil plan by collecting signatures here and there, for the regime to use as a pretext for invading the area before public opinion.
As for us, we commit to peacefulness and nonviolence as a strategical choice in our revolution to the very end, and we shall not betray the bloods of our martyrs. Our revolution is one of civilization and peace, and we will not stop until our goals are reached, so help us God.
