I was detained by the political security branch from Slaibeh because I was chanting “God is the Greatest”. The detainees are tortured every day, beaten with electric stick while they are naked, they are put into wheels while their hands and legs are tighten. They are forced to say “ my God is Bashar, no other God but Bashar”. When the detainee is back from torturing he is kept standing, two from the same room are selected to monitor him to make sure he will not be sitting. I Knew later that this is to keep him alive, they don’t want the detainees to die, they want to torture them again and again. If the detainee dead later they don’t care. They deliberately beat detainee on kidney and flanks among other areas. They also burn detainees with their cigarettes. I was released about two weeks ago but I still have the effects of burns and swelling
