After more than four months: thousands of martyrs, tens of thousands of detainees and missing people, hundreds of thousands of besieged people and millions of those who are chanting for freedom, dignity and basic human rights in Syria, the Syrian regime, who used to enjoy the clapping, false praising and hypocrisy, seems to be unable to understand the true language of their people.
The Syrian regime tries to sidestep the people demands by issuing new laws such as the new law regarding political parties, which is only another failure added to this regime’s portfolio and another nail in its coffin. Those hands which are stained with martyrs’ blood are not able and not trusted to take the country to freedom and democracy.
We, people of Lattakia, announce that martyrs blood, tears of the martyrs’ beloved ones, moaning of the detainees and suffering of besieged people have taken down the regime’s legitimacy forever.
We would like to reaffirm that the we are all now belonging to one party under one theme: because the regime killed, detained and besieged people, people want to topple the regime
