The hearts of the revolution youth in Daraya beat every time Homs is mentioned, because they feel that Homs is close to them, and they are proud to have almost same dialect as people in Homs. But even before being inspired by the dialect, Daraya and Homs youth are united by the spirit of love and brotherhood between both cities.
Homs taught us today how to defeat the regime’s attempts to push it into sectarian strife. How does this stupid regime dare to try creating discord between brothers in a city such Homs? Homs, the city where all citizens from all sects, have always, throughout history, considered themselves as brothers.
Didn’t the regime realize yet that all his attempts are shameful and ridiculous? Didn’t the regime realize yet that he’s getting closer to fall because of all his other practices?
Our beloved Homs… we wait for your other lessons… We wait for your flowers that will defeat snipers… We wait for your beautiful poems that will defeat their tanks… We wait for your practical jokes that recharge our spirit and encourage us to continue the revolution.
Revolution Youth in Daraya are proud of their brothers in Homs, who are continuing their peaceful revolution, who are sticking to their national unity and are far from falling into a sectarian strife.
We send our best wishes to Homs and it’s youth. We will both force, through our peaceful revolution, this regime to leave, and we will build together a new Syria, one that consider all Syrians as citizens and brothers equal in rights.
